Nikujyaga (beef & potato stew in Japanese style)
・Niku = meat in Japanese, ・jyaga = jyagaimo = potato in Japanese
I’m not sure if I call this meal a “stew”. Because a stew for me is more likely meat and vegetables with very thick soup, but “Nikujyaga” is not. It’s cooked with condiments, and simmerd until almost the liquid part has gone.
Anyway, meat and potato, that must be a great combnation. You must like this.
